Summer Place Restaurant was born out of a passion for great food and a love for the vibrant Cleveland community. Within the space formerly known as “Swingos”, Tony George established Summer Place which has become a beloved fixture in the local culinary scene. We pride ourselves on offering a diverse and creative menu that celebrates both local and global flavors as well as giving back to our partner non-profit organization, Awakening Angels.
Our Executive chef, Tom Asimakis, prides himself on our scratch-made menu which carefully sources the freshest ingredients from regional farmers and producers to ensure that every dish is a masterpiece of taste and presentation. Chef Tom’s journey began at Blue Point in Downtown Cleveland where he honed his skills and developed a deep appreciation for diverse flavors with a Mediterranean twist. From our traditional homemade hummus to our expertly grilled steaks, each dish reflects our team’s commitment to culinary innovation while paying homage to rich traditions.
